Pastor Victor Hodge was called home 10/28/11, we are grieving but he is rejoicing. Pastor. Hodge will be so sadly missed by his church, family, and friends.

Funeral services for Rev. Victor Hodge, age 61, will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 1 p.m., at Faith Tabernacle Worship Center, located in Medon, TN with Rev. L. H. Hardwick, Rev. Jimmy Greer, Rev. Nick Pappas and Rev. Josh Hannah officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery.

Rev. Hodge died Friday evening, October 28, 2011.

He was born in Jackson, TN, the son of the late Rev. H. V. Hodge and Katherine Hodge. He graduated from South Side High School where he was a star basketball player. Rev. Hodge attended Bible colleges in Houston, TX and St. Louis, MO. He was Youth Pastor for Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church on East Chester St. in Jackson, TN.

Victor joined the Insurance Industry in Jackson, forming Duke, New and Hodge Insurance Agency. It was a full lines insurance agency, growing to over 40 agents and 8 locations throughout West TN. He rejoined the ministry as Co Pastor of Faith Tabernacle Worship Center in Medon, TN.

Victor is survived by his wife, Donna Carter Hodge; sons, Barry David Hodge and wife Catherine, Greg Hodge and wife Audrey; daughters, Kelly Hodge Eliff and husband David, Gresha Allen, Donessa Carter and husband Tommy; sisters, Kay Davis and husband Michael, Joyce Young and husband David, Peggy Jones and husband Doug, Marcie Hendrick and husband Jim; grandchildren, Madison Lee and Morgan Jean Hodge, Wesley David Eliff, Shelby Renee', George Duncan and Charles William Allen, Maitland and Gregory Hinson Carter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. H. V. Hodge and Katherine Hodge and brother David Hodge.

Those serving as Pallbearers will be Tommy Carter, David Eliff, Ricky Burke, Ronnie Burke, Rende Burke, Robbie Burke, Heath Goff and Keath Goff. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Young, Jr., Eddie Young, Matt Houston, William New, Buddy Gardner, Clint Ragan, Nathan Carter and Rev. Nick O'Shields.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be directed to Faith Tabernacle Worship Center, P. O. Box 94, Medon, TN 38356.
